well, according to tales from our grandparents, they say that certain herbs do have a magical effect.Try to look at the ingredients of potions.You will notice that most of those recipes require a pinch or a leaf of a certain herb.Themagical effect just lies on it, and that cannot be explained..
For example is totally against our religion.
